How do i stop my dogs from barking all the time?

I have these 2 dogs. They constantly follow me everywhere. Protecting me and whatnot. The one thing I dislike about them is that they Bark So Much!
If someone new in the house, they bark. If someone knocks on the door, they bark. If they hear the door open, they bark. I can’t even run around in the backyard because they will constantly bark at the dogs in the the other yards. Most of the time it is just the male, but if i’m not around and he starts to bark, the female joins in. Anyone have any advice?

are they spayed and neutered? please do get them fixed if they’re not.

exercise them for an hour everyday with a doggy backpack if necessary to work off the excess energy. if they come back pooped, they’ll usually not have that much energy left to bark their heads off.

you can buy kongs and make them work for their food which will also work off some energy and stimulate them mentally. this also keeps them occupied, bored dogs entertain themselves by barking. measure out their daily portion of kibbles and stuff the kong in this manner. first put in some tasty and smelly treats that they can’t resist like liver bits. pour in kibble and seal the opening with peanut butter/ plain yogurt/ liver paste etc. freeze the kongs and they’ll have to work on the kongs and think about how to get the food out.
